.SH SYNOPSIS
.B savdctl
enableOnBoot [SERVICE] | disableOnBoot [SERVICE] | enable | disable

.SH DESCRIPTION
.B savdctl
is a program that controls Sophos Anti-Virus daemons.

The SERVICE can be:
.IP savd
Sophos Anti-Virus daemon
.IP sav-protect
Sophos Anti-Virus daemon

The SERVICE defaults to sav-protect if nothing is specified.


.SH OPTIONS
The following options can be used:
.IP disable
Disable on-access protection in the running savd.
.IP enable
Enable on-access protection in the running savd.
.IP enableOnBoot SERVICE
Start SERVICE daemon on system boot.
.IP disableOnBoot SERVICE
Do not start SERVICE daemon on system boot.
.IP help
Display help information.
.IP version
Display version information about savdctl.

.SH EXIT STATUS
Returns 0 if the command is successful, or non-zero if an error occurs.
