.SH DESCRIPTION
.B savdstatus
is a program that detects whether Sophos Anti-Virus is running.

It outputs the status information.

.SH OPTIONS
The following options can be used:
.IP --help
Display help information.
.IP --version
Display Sophos Anti-Virus version information.
.IP --verbose
Display extended information about the status of Sophos Anti-Virus.
.IP --quiet
Display no information about the status of Sophos Anti-Virus; just terminate with the appropriate exit status.

.SH EXIT STATUS
Returns 0 if savd is running and on-access scanning is active.
Returns 1 if savd is not running.
Returns 4 if savd is running but on-access scanning is not active.
